Dr. Dorsey offers various types of Sedation patients. For patients with Dental Anxiety, High Gag Reflex, Mentally Challenged or Alzheimer's / Dementia, or Problems Getting Numb, Dr. Dorsey is licensed to administer IV Sedation in her office setting. She also has a Board Certified Anesthesiologist on staff to administer general anesthesia. In addition to IV Sedation, Dr. Dorsey also offers Sedative Pills and Nitrous Oxide. With IV Sedation and Sedative Pills, multiple procedures can be completed, however, the patient is required to have a companion drive them to and from the appointment. With Nitrous Oxide the patient may drive themselves to and from the appointment.

For patients who are severely mentally or physically compromised, Dr. Dorsey is on staff at Cape Canaveral Hospital, Cocoa Beach, FL and will see patients in the Operating Room. These patients are usually seen on an out-patient basis and multiple procedures can be completed.
